He is best known, though, as the author of transformative books such as The Four Things that Matter Most and Dying Well. Dr. Byock’s books are widely considered essential texts for anyone providing care or counsel to others facing serious illness or end of life, and insightful, inspiring reading for all.
Dr. Byock’s mission of providing whole-person care and his dream of making the end of life meaningful are more relevant today than ever before.
We hope you’ll join us to hear about his experiences from his thirty yeas as a palliative care expert and stories from his experiences in caring for patients and families through serious illness and the end of life. Special guest Kairos Alive! will provide music and dance. It is sure to be an enlightening and inspiring evening.
