Announcement: Departure of Executive Director

It is bittersweet to inform you of the departure of MNHPC's Executive Director, Jessica Hausauer, PhD. Jessica's contributions have been invaluable, and her presence will be greatly missed. We extend our sincere gratitude for her years of dedicated service to our mission and wish Jess the very best in her new position as the Executive Director of the National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care. We know that Jessica will continue to make a positive impact in the hospice and palliative field and community. We sincerely look forward to seeing all the great things she will accomplish in the future!

We also want to extend a warm welcome to our new interim director, Dave Blomquist, MBA. We are excited to work with Dave and look forward to seeing the direction that Dave will take our organization in the coming months. We know that with his expertise and leadership, we will continue to grow and thrive.

The course is an introduction to serious illness and end-of-life care for home or community based health care providers or anyone caring for someone facing a serious illness or the end of life. It is free, open to anyone, and available in four different languages.

Multicultural Resources


Minnesota Network of Hospice & Palliative Care is committed to increasing education about and access to hospice and palliative care for all Minnesotans. MNHPC has partnered with numerous community organizations to create and distribute resources with the goal of raising awareness and answering questions about hospice, palliative care, and advance care planning within diverse cultural communities across the state.
