Providing Comfort and Dignity
Learning that you or a loved one is dying can be overwhelming news. It’s normal to feel overcome with grief and hopelessness. During this time, it’s important to be surrounded by the love and support of family and friends, and to remember that while the hope for a cure may fade the hope to live each day to its fullest remains.
The goal of hospice is to help those with a terminal illness live their final months in comfort and dignity in whatever setting is most appropriate—a private home, a skilled nursing center, assisted living setting and other long-term care residences or in residential hospice settings.
