MNHPC is directed by nurses, doctors, clinicians, and community leaders passionate about the value of palliative and hospice care. The MNHPC Board of Directors helps to guide the mission of the organization, assist with fundraising efforts and achieve organizational priorities.

The Minnesota Network of Hospice & Palliative Care is accepting nominations from September 30th to October 28th, 2024 for openings on its Board of Directors, with terms beginning in January 2025. Board members may serve a maximum of nine years, with each term lasting three years.

We invite you to nominate yourself or someone you believe would be an effective Board member. If nominating another individual, please ensure you have their consent.

  • Nominations are welcomed from individuals across all disciplines within hospice organizations; however, nominees are not required to be affiliated with a hospice organization.
  • MNHPC is committed to developing a Board of Directors that represents the entire state
  • We encourage Board members who have expertise in finance, marketing, education, long-term care, development, government relations, fundraising, nonprofit management and law

We encourage you to consider the opportunity to join the MNHPC Board of Directors. Serving on the board provides a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on the greater community by shaping initiatives that improve quality end-of-life and serious illness care. Your passion for this work and dedication to making a difference will not only contribute to the organization's success but also inspire others to join in creating positive change.

MNHPC is committed to fostering and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) throughout our work, including on our Boards of Directors. We believe diversity on the Board is the presence of a wide range of backgrounds and identities that may include race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, (dis)ability, geography, religion/spirituality, family status, Veteran status, professional discipline, and lived experience.
