Question: We have a potential pediatric private pay client referral coming to our agency. How do other agencies typically bill privately for Hospice, per diem or per visit?

We are working towards transitioning our EMR and the implementation team is suggesting that our various Complimentary Therapists - Healing Touch, Music and Massage Therapies do not require "visit frequencies" like RNs, MSWs, etc. They have set up those discipline interventions and visit frequencies go on the POC which the Hospice Medical Director signs every 2 weeks during IDG meetings. I see this practice as raising concerns when we are surveyed by MDH. Do you have any recommendations?

Question: What are the requirements behind the Bereavement coordinator attending IDG meetings?

Question: What licensure or qualifications does a social worker need under Minnesota hospice state license?

Question:
Can a NP sign the certification of terminal illness? If they cannot, where is the official guidance stating this? We have always required that an MD must sign; however, we have a physician from a Physician Rounding Group who is adamant that their NP should be able to sign these.
