Rose Molitor

Seven years and over 700 volunteer hours, and several patients served. Rose is an exemplary visiting hospice volunteer. Rose has a quiet, loving and joyful personality, with an openness that leads to easy familiarity. One just cannot help but be drawn to her. She shares friendship, comforting words, and support to her patients. Her compassion extends to the family, giving space for laughter, tears, reminiscing or a warm embrace. Rose stands out because of her ability to connect in deep and meaningful ways. She’s able to bless those she serves in ways that can only come from a heart of love. Most recently, Rose has developed a close bond with a hospice patient forged through weekly walks. Rose is additionally a member of our bereavement team. In this role she has a way of allowing people to express what is needed during the walks. She meets people where they are at, while gently asking questions to elicit response Rose truly exemplifies the hospice philosophy. She develops friendships with her patients, and does so with steadfast dedication, compassion, dignity, support, and most importantly, love.
